Le Côtes de Gascogne de Famaey

Dry white wine, clear with pale yellow reflections.

Intense nose, full of freshness, very aromatic. 

Palate: Very intense for a dry white wine! Citrus, then a slight dominance of notes of flowers and fruits such as acacia and white peach. On the palate, ample, complex and tonic progressive attack, citrus finish.

Terroir

Light soils, called “tawny sands”, sometimes more composite, then qualified as boulbènes. They are known to benefit expressiveness and white balance.

Winemaking

Selective sorting from vintage to vine. Very fast incubation to avoid any risk of oxidation before film maceration. Pressing. Fermentation in low temperature tanks.

Breeding

Short in stainless steel vats then quickly bottled for consumption young on the fruit.
