By appointment with the family, a walk in the vineyards on the back of a donkey

In July and August, we welcome you by appointment for a guided tour with a member of the Château Famaey team.

A walk in the vineyards and a donkey ride for the kids and discovery of our different terroirs. 

First tasting of rosé for the parents and grape juice for the children at the top of our plots then descent to the visit of the cellar, storage of bottles and preparation of orders. 

Afterwards, visit of the barrel cellar and tasting of 3 red wines of the domain and another fruit juice for the children. 

The youngest will have to find the fruit they have tasted and obtain a diploma of the little winegrower awarded by the winegrower of the domain himself. 

The visit lasts about 1h30. Only by appointment and depending on the health of the animals (2 donkeys and a Shetland pony). 

By appointment in a la carte group (vineyards, cellar, tasting, meal)

For larger groups we can also organise guided tours of the vineyard to cover specific needs in mind, from technical explanations on vineyard maintenance to marketing, wine tasting and more. Please consult us for more information or an ''à la carte'' visit with vertical tastings or tastings with amuse-bouche or many other options.

Come during opening hours to discover and taste our wines. Our team welcomes you with pleasure. In the summer we sometimes have a lot of visits so making an appointment by email or telephone will improve the quality of our welcome.

Or book your holidays with us, in the middle of the Lot vineyards with a magnificent view of the Lot valley and its vineyards and the medieval village of Puy – l'Évêque...

We have two cottages at your disposal. Since the two lodgings were built in an old wine cellar, you will feel right at home in a wine world . We have been able to keep the charm of the cellar with the concrete vats, the barrels and above all a magnificent view of the vineyards of the Lot valley.

The Malbec cottage can accommodate 5 to a maximum of 7 people and the Sauvignon cottage a maximum of 5. As a group you can rent the 2 for a private swimming pool.
